Conditions in these Mountains can change quickly.
If you are coming from Cody, the elevation change from there to Kirwin is over 4,000 feet in Altitude. (9,200 ft)
You may encounter Snow, Rain or Winds at any time of the year. Everyone is encouraged to take jackets.
It IS cooler at that elevation.
We supply some rain gear and blankets.
ADDITIONALLY, the River can rise unexpectedly.
Especially in June & early July.
This year, 2022, we are experiencing High River Run-Offs and when the temperature Rises in the afternoon, The Wood River is Impassable with any vehicle available to the normal citizen- including all of us.
